Noval Property participated at the 4th Fund and Asset Management Conference organized by the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) on Thursday, September 21, at the Megaron Athens International Conference Center. The focus of the conference “Investing in an Inflationary Environment” was debated upon during a panel discussion involving the heads of Greek REICs including Panagiotis Kapetanakos, CEO of Noval Property who represented the Company during the conference.
Referring to Noval Property’s strategy, Mr. Kapetanakos stated that: “We place a great emphasis on sustainable development while maintaining a strong capital structure”.
More specifically, in regards to the Company’s sustainable development strategy, Mr. Kapetanakos noted that: “We are working intensively towards developing sustainable buildings. With that being said, our objective doesn’t focus solely on their environmental certification, but also on their design, so that they are flexible and resilient to the changing needs of the market, environmental requirements and the general business and social environment, which is changing rapidly overseas and more gradually in Greece. In this context, we are currently reconstructing an existing office building we acquired located at 199 Kifissias Avenue in Maroussi with the aim of converting it into a pioneering office building that will have the lowest carbon footprint at its operation in Greece.”
Mr. Kapetanakos also referred to the Company being listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, following the recent approval of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders.
